Southeast District Announces Collection Sites for Haiti Relief

“The prayers and condolences of the Southeast District Churches go out to
the people of Haiti in the wake of the tragic Earthquake” said District
Superintendent Stryker.
The District leadership is asking churches to collect offering for
Haiti and to assemble Health Kits at their local churches. (Click for
attached instruction sheet for latest contents). The District has set up
two collection points once the kits are assembled. Read

Huguley
United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor
Al Smith, is seeking to connect to the community. During
the recent Christmas parade, the church participated by
putting a float in the parade.

Spanish-English Angel Tree Event
 Saturday,
December 12, some 220 persons participated in a
bi-lingual “Angel Tree” service at New Home United
Methodist Church. Others who could not attend had also
helped prepare the Christmas gifts for children of some
54 families who were unemployed.
