Reverend Stryker - District Superintendent:

The Reverend Richard Lane Stryker was appointed Superintendent of the Southeast District of the North Alabama Conference in June 2007. Prior to becoming a superintendent, he served as pastor of churches in Liberia, Tennessee and Alabama. He is married to Jennie and their son is Waddy.

Reverend Stryker is a graduate of the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary (Bachelor of Theology 1986), and the Memphis Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Religion 1989 & Master of Divinity 1993). He is enrolled in the Doctorate of Ministry program at the School of Theology University of the South.

In North Alabama he served as pastor of Rising Star UMC in Hobson City (1997-2000) St. Paul UMC in Birmingham (2000-2002) and St. Thomas UMC in Sylacauga (2002-2007).

Reverend Densmore - Assistant District Superintendent:

The Southeast District announces the new Assistant to the District Superintendent, Reverend Mike Densmore. Mike Densmore has served as the pastor of Fairfax United Methodist Church since June of 2004. He will continue as pastor while taking on this new responsibility. Patsy Densmore is Mike's wife and partner in the ministry. A number of years ago he served Mt. Zion in Gadsden and Webster Chapel.

Mike is a native of Alexander City, Alabama and a graduate of Benjamin Russell High School and Auburn University where he was active in the football and wrestling programs during the days of "Shug" Jordan and "Swede" Umbach. Following graduation from Auburn, he coached football, wrestling, and golf at Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, Alabama for three years before joining Goodyear.

Among the first certified process consultants/facilitators in America, he has been listed among "Who's Who in Human Resource Management” and has studied leadership, on-site, at The Center for Creative Leadership, Thunderbird University, University of Michigan, M.I.T. Sloan School, University of Wisconsin, Harvard, and Morehouse College.

Debby Webb - District Administrative Asssistant:

Debby serves as the administrative coordinator for the office of the District Superintendent. She facilitates the operations of the office through diligent and faithful service.
